“For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” — Luke 19:10
We are simply a local group of Christians who have a desire to serve God and be pleasing in His sight. We welcome you to each of our services and invite you to come study His word with us. We all realize the need to grow and to improve our lives. We believe that God’s word provides us with the knowledge, understanding, and power to do just that.
We Are Simply Christians …
We believe that when the seed, the Word of God (Luke 8:11), is sown in the hearts of honest individuals who then obey that Word, it will produce Christians – nothing more and nothing less. This is what happened in the first century, and this is what we strive for today. “But if anyone suffers as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name” — 1 Peter 4:16 (NASB).
When you visit us for one of our assemblies, you can expect a warm welcome and an enriching period of worship together. Our primary focus is on God and in praising and honoring His name. Our purpose is not to impress people but to be impressed by all that He has done for us. It is the Bible that instructs us how to worship and Whom to worship, and our worship service is simply patterned after that of the first-century Christians (Acts 2:42).
